Average Time For A Local Move:
Bachelor and 1 bedroom apartment — 2 to 4 hours
2 bedroom apartment — 4 to 6 hours
House — up to 8 hours
Homes with more content beyond the average standard home, may require additional time to load and off–load. The distance from the front door and where the truck is parked will be considered as well. For example, ground floor with front door access will be much easier and require less time than having to move an apartment building.
Please don’t forget to book an elevator for the day of the scheduled move with your building’s management.
All local quotes include 1 hour travel time.
